Week 6-Interviews WCIYP

The interview process is one challenge that many individuals face when in search for work.  I feel that the main reason for this struggle is because people are just not very good at talking to each other.  Having face to face communication has become a difficult skill to acquire for most that were raised with technology access.

Now, most would say the technology is the sole reason for this lack of expertise.  While technology does make this absence of in-person communication more of a convenience; I feel that the user of the technology is more at fault.

It is your personal choice to put down the phone and do what is needed.  Communicating with other people can be very challenging for some, especially when speaking to someone with authority.

My advice, get out and talk to people.  When in public, put your phone away and just experience the world.  Have conversations with strangers by saying what is on your mind and interacting with those around you.  With this will come new communication skills, business connections, and possibly that new job you were looking for.  Put the phone down, look up, and live your life.
